Outside the dorms, Sunday morning

Gladys was on her way back from the stables. (The genet had decided the hayloft was a good place to spend its days, and as it was decimating the rodent population, Gladys had decided it was fair that it should sleep there. Fair pay for fair work, and the horse didn't seem to care.)

A tiny monkey suddenly appeared in front of her, chirruping as it cocked its head, staring up at her. Gladys stared back. "Hello."

Apparently, this was an invitation in monkey, because it scampered forward and straight up, perching on her head. "I Am Not A Tree," she insisted. It chittered demandingly, and a dozen or so more tiny monkeys appeared out of nowhere, all staring at her with gleaming eyes. "Do Not Even Think About It."

They didn't, simply swarmed, and soon Gladys' head and shoulders were covered in tiny albino monkeys, all chattering at each other and leaping around. "This Is Not How The Day Was Supposed To Go."

[ooc: whee, tiny monkeys! Open of course! ]

Some things are just ingrained.

He'd gotten up extra early to put in some practice in before Ino would get to the gym but then he'd seen them (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh_ooc/544208.html) on his way there, and his plans changed. One scampered up to his shoulder and another poked at the broom and it was all so familiar in a way that thankfully didn't hurt that he immediately changed course.

Shooing them off with a promise he'd return, Liir went back inside of the dorms to get some things together. Whistling and yes, perhaps even skipping, he slipped into the common room kitchen.

A few minutes later, Liir returned with a few bowls, stacked carefully atop one another with a variety of different little tidbits inside (http://www.primatecare.com/adiet.htm), some cooked some raw. He was immediately swarmed, which did nothing but pull a wide grin onto his features before he sat down and started sharing "breakfast" officially with the monkeys.
