5th Floor Common Room, Friday Early Morning
It was... too quiet.
Ino was bored.
Neither was a particularly good thing. Especially not when combined. This would be why she wandered down to her common room and cranked the volume of the radio up as high as it could go. Which was... well, ‘pretty loud’ was a severe understatement.
There. Even if it would probably give her a headache (scratch that, already was), it’d be worth it if the noise brought entertainment with it. Even if this entertainment would probably come in the form of people bitching at her.
Ino could work with that.
She flopped down on the couch, and flicked idly though a gardening magazine as she waited to see if anyone would come by and tell her to turn the music way way down.
[Very open of course!]

"I was bored," she informed Amber.
A beat.
"I like your slippers."
no subject
"You cannont be bored and WAKE people up! I was havin' a good dream! And I can't get it back unless I think real hard and who can possibly think real hard so early in the freakin' mornin'?!"
Pause.
Amber glanced down at her slippers. Wiggled her feet, and grinned. "Thanks!"

Amber plopped down in a chair. "A good dream with- about Scottish warriors."
no subject
"Scottish warriors?"
no subject
Amber tapped her toes to the floor, watching her froggie heads bob. "Uh-huh... kind of... some research-y stuff I've been workin' on. You'd find it borin' probably," she lied.

Amber smiled. That sounded so good. Ino didn't know her well enough she didn't think to know when she was lying.
"How's the givin' of soap to Cal goin', uh?" Change of topic!
no subject
Unless it had a practical application, Ino totally would not go anywhere near a book.
Ino poured coffee, adding sugar and cream and wandering over to hand it to Amber before answering that question.
"Cal," she said firmly, "is getting the next one chucked at his head."
no subject
Oh. Something must have happened that Amber didn't hear about. Of course not like Cal would mention an argument or anything he'd had with anybody. She just didn't know him well enough for that.
"...that doesn't sound very nice."

A beat.
"Blu?" That got a puzzled look. "He's blue?"
no subject
"No. He's not blue. Well, except for his eyes."
Uh.
no subject
...
"...why're you looking at his eyes? And how does that go in with calm and collected...?"
no subject
...
"Well, when you talk to someone, you kind of notice their eyes," she said in a d'uh sort of tone. "And... what? You're gettin' me all confused!" Amber drank her coffee and bobbed her froggie heads.
no subject
Of course, she'd been pretty pissy herself, but whatever.
"You're the one that said he's all 'calm and collected and blu," Ino insisted, "you're the one confusing me."
no subject
She grumbled. "He... blushes alot around me. That's all. Geeze. That's what I was going to say but you don't need to be repeatin' it, Ino. Okay?"
no subject
"Why would I repeat it? What's the point in that?" she made a face. "And who'd care but you and him if he does? I mean, seriously. What?"
no subject
Amber glared at Ino. Again. And she doesn't usually glare often. "I can see now why he might have thrown cards at you."
