Third Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening
So Rikku had found a grumpy kitty in her Flight class, and lo and behold, it was the Worf!kitty! She'd totally have to take him back to Wellspring Arms tomorrow morning when she went in to work.
For now, she was going to keep him with her, and hope he didn't kill Petey.
Hmmm. This called for a few hours in the Common Room.
"Who's such a grumpy kitty?" she cooed, at the clearly miserable angry unhappy cat who was most likely plotting her death. "Who is that?"
(OOC: so, so, so open! IMPORTANT NOTE: the Worf!kitty hates (A) being a kitty (B) everything and especially (C) you. Some light modding is okay so long as you remember those three important points. Bring your own bandages!)

She giggled as she knelt to scritch the kitty. "Here, worfy-worfy."

She giggled, shifting back to her normal voice. "That's what he was doing, coming in to use the Meditation Room and then poof! Cat. I thought that only happened when people were making out, but I swear I wasn't doing anything."
The Worf!kitty hissed in Ella's general direction, sparing a few hisses back at Rikku, and then some more for life and the indignity of being a kitten and not a warrior.
"He's grumpy," Rikku explained. Very, very needlessly.

She gave Rikku a worried look. "How often does it happen, really?"
no subject
She held out her clawed-up hands and forearms as proof of that one.
"I don't know how often it is," she mused. "I mean, it happened to Jude twice, but I've never -- wait, I was a little weird pony-thing once. But it seemed like lots of people were, that weekend, you know?"

The poor thing was also causing large amounts of bloodshed. Still.
"I was a really teeny horse," she frowned. "I dunno why. Everyone else was huge and I was, like, four inches tall. And Reno was an action figure, and his head kept popping off."
Fandom really made for sentences that sounded like you were abusing hard drugs.

Double entendres, what double entendres?

"No," she managed finally. "His joints didn't bend the right way."
Oh, wow, that sounded worse.

"I miss riding," she added.
no subject
"No, he's ..." She cleared her throat. "He was ... a ... good size. Probably ... missed ... riding, too."
Yup. Probably did.
"You ... go riding a lot?"
If she kept her eyes really, really huge, that would keep her from coughing. This was her theory, and she was going to test it.

She noticed Rikku's eyes getting big. "Are you all right?"

She was trying to get used to the idea of saying that.

Ramble mode: on.
"I think Petey misses her, but Petey might be too dim to remember she was there," she added.
no subject
"Who's Petey?"
no subject
She bounced again. "Petey's my cat! I named him Cuban Pete. After the song. Which I sing a lot, and it annoys people, so I only do that with people I want to annoy? Like Hades. We'd crash into his office and mutiny and serenade him."
Ramble mode might be stuck on.

She was still thinking about the empty side of her room. "Do people normally get new roommates if theirs move out? Because that was part of why Turtle moved in with Jeff. They didn't want him to get a different roommate."
no subject
Some people didn't mind rooming with guys, but that always seemed like it'd be weird, to her.
no subject
She looked horrified.
no subject
Because ... a guy, just hanging out while you changed? Seriously.
"Maybe I'll just ... keep my room a single? I mean. It's not so bad! And there aren't any guys, unless Reno --"
Let's not finish that thought, Rikku.

She had a pretty good idea there wasn't a box. "Rikku? I know we barely know each other, and I know this is strange, but ... oh, it's too weird, I don't want to ask and put you on the spot."
