Gym, Late Tuesday Afternoon
After cheer practice, John didn't go far from the gym, knowing he was due to meet up with Dawn.
While he waited, he got out gloves and head gear for both of them. Even if she was smaller than him, safety was key to this sort of sparring. He wouldn't want to hurt her and end up with a dozen Winchesters after him, after all.
'Course, if she kicked his ass, he was going to have so much explaining to do.
[For the green girl primarily, but open to all]

"Hi," she chirped as she walked in, already stretched out. First thing she did was to start working her ponytail through the headgear. "Ready?"

She finished lacing up her gloves, then took a spot about two arms' length away on the mat.

Dawn had been taught to fight dirty and didn't want to warn John unnecessarily.
She smacked her gloves on his and took a fighting stance, hands already up to block.

Sadly, she also couldn't cross her fingers in the gloves.
Once she was ready, Dawn threw a right jab at John's midsection, hoping he'd think she'd start with his head and she'd be able to confuse him.

John lowered his left arm to block her jab, and threw a right hook at her head in retaliation.

Once she was upright again, she tried out a right uppercut to his stomach.

Shaking it off, he moved in close to strike out, intending to get her with a right crosscut with a left jab following right behind.

Hopefully without telegraphing it too badly, she spun into a back-kick, wanting to use her momentum and weight to screw up his balance. This wasn't a move she would have tried with anyone non-human, at least not yet, but maybe with John she'd get lucky.

He tried to block her kick with his arms, but anticipated it lower than she hit, taking it in the chest and causing him to take a knee rather than fall over.

Yes, she'd forgotten about the headgear.
