[4th Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon]

Bumblebee had managed sleep, at least, but now was facing low fuel reserves and a distressing feeling of being nearly blind. Following what he discerned to be instincts, he had made his way to the kitchen area of the common room and was looking into cupboards and drawers with a growing sense of urgency.

This organic business was difficult; no wonder Sam always seemed so upset so often.

Hinata!Jack was wandering around, trying to find himself. Or Hinata-in-him. Whatever.

He didn't even know what floor she was on. "Hey," he waved. "You haven't seen a guy that looks like me around here, have you?"

Bumblebee glanced up from the drawer and gave the person before him a curious look, then shook his(/her) head. "I haven't seen a person matching your description," he said. "But I think if one did, they would be female."

"Of course they would be female, it'd--wait. No, it'd look like me. About yay high--" he exaggerated the hight, slightly, as Hinata was not that much shorter, really, "--and blonde?" Hinata mimed the mullet. "And a guy."

"Man, I need a burger or something." It was not a pout. Really.

Frowning was a strange sensation, but it felt appropriate as he tried to puzzle through the conversation so far. "You look like a female human about this tall," he said, holding his hand at Hinata's height. "With dark hair. And I don't have any burgers."

"I know I'm this tall," he said, putting his own--her own--hand at Hinata height. "There's nothing in the fridge? Here, let me make a sandwich or something. You hungry?"

Whatever Hinata's feelings were about the subject, Jack had no problems looting other common rooms for food...or anywhere else for food.

Sam was wandering the dorms in search of, you know, people when he found a chick in a common room and decided to be friendly. "Hey," he said. "I'm Sam Witwicky, I live upstairs, and uh, I'm new, which you probably guessed. So. Yeah. Hi."

"I know who you are," Bumblebee replied, really smiling for the first time since he'd changed. "Very well, in fact."

"Really?" Sam was deeply confused. "Are--are you in one of my classes or something? Because I don't think I'd forget meeting you--not that. I mean. Uh. Yeah. Really?"

Bumblebee's smile widened to a grin, unable to hide his amusement at Sam being flustered. "No, it's Bumblebee," he relented, not wanting to torment him too long. "The body is only being borrowed."

Sam stared.

And stared.

And stared some more.

It was strange enough, the continuing process of seeing how this new body worked. The combination of being less mobile and far more aware was moving from frightening to interesting. But even more fascinating to Teyla was watching her own body move in the common room, and wondering if she looked like that all the time.

"Are you finding everything all right?" she asked, taking careful steps.

"Mostly. Jack is helping me to eat," he confessed, watching himself (er, his body, anyway) move about with interest. "I didn't think to ask about it, before."

"I noticed that does not seem to be an issue for this body," Teyla said. "It's very impressive."

"I'm impressed that humans manage to feed themselves everyday; it seems like it and sleeping must take up a lot of your time," Bumblebee said.

"Meals can be very quick," Teyla said. "They can also be shared with others, so the time can be spent with friends or loved ones, and is not necessarily wasted."

Hinata!Jack boggled. Holy crap, there was a robot there.

Teyla saw herself being stared at, and didn't blame the girl one bit. "Hello there," she said, hoping that she was giving off a non-threatening appearance.

"You're a robot!" he declared. It just happened that his manful declaration came out a mite bit higher-pitched than what he was used to.

"Oh, hey, Bu--wait, no, you're not Bumblebee," Sam corrected himself. "Duh. Of course. You're. Somebody. Hi. I'm Sam."

"I am Teyla," she said. "At least, when I am normally myself."

"Oh, well, uh, hi, Teyla," he said. "I'm Sam," he added, hand to chest, and, "and I already said that, and, uh, you're kind of currently in the body of my car, so that's...really different."

Andros was still trying to adjust to the whole idea of not being in a different body but also being a different gender.

Eventually Andros found himself at the fourth floor common room, "er - hello," he said as he entered.

"Hello," Bumblebee greeted, trying on a smile. "How are you?"

"Not really sure," Andros admitted, "I'm normally in a different body, it's taking some getting used to," that was something he never thought he'd ever say.

"I can sympathize," Bumblebee said dryly. "Who are you normally?"
