The Deck, Tuesday Morning
Dawn had meant to make it to the beach, she really had. But then there had been rum in the shower spigots and she'd gotten very sticky tipsy. In the interest of not falling down anything, she'd parked herself on the deck in a bathing suit with a book that wouldn't make her concentrate too hard (as long as her eyes could still focus), a towel, some sunscreen, a tupperware container of shower rum and a couple of bottles of so-far-unadulterated coke.
"Forgot the music," she grumbled.
[ooc: So very open, obviously.]

He would have shown John what he meant if the guitar wasn't still in its case, so he went and had a seat in what looked like the strongest chair, setting the case in front of him and starting to get the instrument out.
"How've you been?"

But he liked the deck anyway, and, coincidentally, he had his guitar with him, because he was thinking of coming down and playing anyway.
He gave everyone a lifted hand of a wave with the hand that wasn't holding on to the strap of the guitar case over his shoulder.

Because obviously that was the important part. "Er, hi. I'm Dawn. There was rum."
