The Deck, Late Wednesday Morning

Ever since the whole wardrobe-turning-to-pirate-clothes thing, Sam had been a little nervous and careful every time he opened his closet. So, when he'd gone to get dressed in the morning and found his closet full of oranges, he was able to back away quickly enough to keep from getting pummeled too badly.

Not wanting to put good fruit to waste, and certainly not wanting it all to stay in the room, Sam headed out to the deck after his first period class with Scout, a book, and a basket of the oranges. He set the basket beside himself as he sat down and started reading, and kept an eye on Scout as he took advantage of the new location and stretched out in a warm, sunny spot.

"She does seem to be pretty constant in her expressions," Dean agreed.

"She's got a dog now though. Maybe that'll put her in a better mood," Meg said. She had been kind of down since Luke left. "He followed her home from that pirate island. He's a really cute."

Dean snickered. "Man, I would've paid to see that."

"She definitely was not happy," Meg said, grinning. "I would have made fun of her but she could probably kick my ass."

"And then I'd have to kick her ass in retaliation."

"You can't kick her ass; she's a girl," Meg said. "I'd get Dawn to do it or something."

"Hey, I've sparred with lots of girls that could kick my ass," Dean said.

"Sparring is different than getting revenge on somebody who kicked your girlfriend's ass," Meg pointed out.
