4th Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

Somehow Teddy had found himself in the common room with an over abundance of popcorn. And a finale for some design show he hadn't been watching before, but it had to be better for his brain than anything on the Scifi Channel, right?

Right?

He was still sad he missed Anaconda III last night.

A slight glance and a back step or two to peek into the common room told Chad that he didn't have to go further down the hallway to track down who he'd come up to go find.

"Hey," he said, moving in and giving a rueful look at the furniture that didn't look quite as strong as his good old chair down on the third floor, but, then again, his chair wasn't next to Teddy like the seat he was taking now. "What're you watching?"

"Nothing!" Where the hell did he put that remote? "It was on when I came in."

"People don't usually just leave the TVs on, Ted," Chad pointed out, head tilting to pay more attention to what was on the TV. "Interior design?"

"...I like the blond girl," Teddy admitted after a moment.

Somewhere underneath his hair, Chad shifted his gaze over toward Teddy. "So you've watched it before?"

"On and off," He said, scooting closer to him for a Chad-shaped pillow. "It's kinda fun."

And so stereotypical it was just too hilarious to admit to.

Chad, of course, was thinking that, too, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. As far as those stereotypes went, he was ranking up a few of his own. Noticing the scooting, he moved his arm, putting it up on the back of the couch, so Teddy could have more to scoot to.

"Not getting any ideas, are you?" Chad asked. Not, of course, that he'd have a problem with that, it would just be...weird to see Teddy getting into something that wasn't his comics. A good weird. Maybe he could design a shelf to keep them all in, or something.

Teddy eyed him. "God no. You've seen my room. A poster of the new Ratman movie is what I consider classy."

"But it is classy," Chad informed him. "It's a very well designed poster."

Mac sat down on one of the cushions near the TV, clutching her coffee. As usual.

"Oh, hey, I've seen this before," she said as she got comfortable.

Teddy offered popcorn with a grin. "You're a fan?"

"Don't know about a fan," Mac said carefully. "But I've sat and watched a couple of times."

"I tell myself it'll I'll be useful once I'm very rich and have a house to do this sort of stuff with."

Teddy laughed at that. "Instead of hiring one of these people to do it for you?"

"It's more satisfying if you do it yourself," Mac replied as she snagged a couple of pieces of popcorn with a smirk.

"If I had the money, I'd hire them," Teddy said, nodding quickly. "They always make things look pretty cool."

A beat.

"Except that one lady that no one liked."

"There's always at least one person no one likes on these kind of shows," Mac decided. "Fact of life."

"After she was gone they were all so nice," Teddy said, like that was the weirdest thing ever.

Worf was patrolling the dorm. No he wasn't wandering. Klingons do not wander.

Klingons patrol.

Which is how he discovered the gathering in the common room and gave a nod of greeting to anyone who might be in there.

Teddy smiled and-- okay paused at the forehead for a moment, but held out the popcorn anyway.

"Hi!"

Worf looked at the popcorn as if it were an alien lifeform.

Or at least it was alien to the alien.

"Greetings," he said gruffly and nodded at the popcorn. "What is that?"

"Popcorn." Teddy shook the bowl slightly. "It's good."

Worf took one kernel and chewed it thoroughly. "Interesting. What is it made of?".

"Corn. That's um, been popped with heat."

"I see. Interesting texture," Worf replied though it might be pretty obvious he did not care for it. "What is this show on the TV?"

"Oh! It's about interior design." A beat. "Um, making things in rooms look nice."
