Elegant Emu Campfire [Monday Evening]

After his one and only class today, Lee had come back to the cabins and crashed for a little while before getting tired of that and wandering out to the campfire.

He got it started pretty quickly before leaning back against a log and lounging lazily. Sure, he could have done this in the cabin but there was no fire or sky or anything like that.

It was easy to forget about things he should be thinking of, plans he should be making when they were in Australia and the weather so was nice.

Toby was having a problem remembering which cabin was his. It had some weird name he couldn't remember, but in his search he spotted Lee and promptly forgot his purpose. "How safe is napping in front of an open flame?" Toby asked as he plopped down to do just that.

"As long as the fire's controlled and you're not actually covered in gasoline, you should be fine," he said, smiling at Toby.

"Huh, did you start it with gasoline?" Toby wondered.

"No," he laughed. "I started it with some kindling and matches. I don't have any gasoline to use."

"Oh wow," Toby said, amazed by Lee's skill. "You're such a guy's guy."

"It's pretty easy," Lee told him, nodding. "I'll show you sometime. How's cabins going for you?"

"They'd be better if people didn't rename stuff," Toby told him huffily. "I can't remember what cabin I live in, other than it's not the one I used to live in and has some insanely gay name."

"The names kinda make me laugh," he said and laughed. "They're different. And hey, if you can't find your cabin, you can crash on my floor."

"I just might take you up on that, dude." Toby looked around. "So what's this one's name, Pink Powerpuff Pansies?"

"Elegant Emu," he said, snickering. "Though Pink Powerpuff Pansies does have a great ring to it."

"It does. Maybe I'll like, takeover a cabin and rename it and like, turn it into my own personal den of dirty." It would be so awesome.

"Who would you invite into your personal den of dirty?" Lee wondered.

"Dude, everyone who's hot," Toby told him. "Oh, maybe that girl with the nice hair and Johnny. We could get our threesome action on."

"Threesome action?" Lee asked, interested despite himself. "Someone ask you for one?"

"Uh huh," Toby nodded. "Threesomes are fun. Not that I've done one with a girl before."

"...I can guess. I mean, I've like watched TV before." Toby would just focus on the dude, he knew what to do with dudes.

"I'd offer to teach you but that would be very weird," he laughed.

"So you're an Elegant Emu, now?" Adah asked, the only thing to announce joining the Eel where he sat, except perhaps the typical uneven drag of her steps. Imagine that, though: interaction in a public sphere. It was a bit easier to do when the terrain between them was mostly on the same level.

"I go by many names," he said, smiling at her. "Elegant and Emu are merely just two."

"And Eel," Adah, of course, had to point out, head nodding slightly, trying not to laugh too hard at Elegant. "I'm noticing an 'E' theme; shall I continue? Enigmatic. Effervescent. Excrement. I would say erudite, but that, clearly, would be me."

"Hey!" He frowned, having caught one word. "Excrement?"

"Oh my god!" Toby looked at Lee in shock. "You don't have girl parts, do you? I mean, you're like a really convincing dude."

"I wondered if you'd catch that one," Adah mused, grinning at him lightly, lopsidely, and maybe even a little fondly.

Toby cocked his head and smiled at Adah. "Hey Lee's girlfriend!" He was very cheery because he liked Lee and therefore he liked Adah, even if she gave his body to that unfortunate Hispanic boy. And no. No shirt here.
