Helen was feeling a bit disgruntled and rather homesick after her trip with the Doctor today. She'd also decided to try this s'mores thing and had marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. Getting a fire going was no problem, but now she wasn't quite certain how to manage the heating up of the ingredients.

It was rather frustrating.

Now that classes were finished for the semester Liz had taken the opportunity to contact Professor Broom about spending the next week at the BPRD while there was a break between classes. It had been a while since she had visited home, asthe last time had been at the start of the summer semester.

Once she was finished with the arrangements she came out to the campfire, she had a new book on the paranormal that she wanted to finish reading and she decided to spend some time outdoors.

Helen was out by the campfire staring into the flames. She was glad she wasn't getting lost any time she stepped more than three feet from the cabin, but she'd actually rather enjoyed the fog.

Helen was in her glories! She was seated out at the campfire, gathering as many of the spiders and the creepy-crawlies that were in range to her so that she could check them all out. This meant that her lower half was mostly covered with the things trying to get close to her, while she held several of the others lovingly to examine them.

After his one and only class today, Lee had come back to the cabins and crashed for a little while before getting tired of that and wandering out to the campfire.

He got it started pretty quickly before leaning back against a log and lounging lazily. Sure, he could have done this in the cabin but there was no fire or sky or anything like that.

It was easy to forget about things he should be thinking of, plans he should be making when they were in Australia and the weather so was nice.

Helen wasn't happy about the move into the cabins.

What a surprise.

At least Seregil and Lee were assigned to her cabin. That was something anyway.

To amuse herself she began to collect spiders in her area. What? It cheered her up. That had to be a good thing, right?
