Odd Duck Campfire - Saturday, 8/23 - midafternoon
Liir was mostly here because he had to had to think and it was one of the only nearby places he could think without much to distract him. If he was in his bunk, he'd grab a book. If he was at the gym, he'd start doing his stances. There were a few other places and they all had a few other things that kept him from going there and so he was around the campfire space, tossing a couple of chocolate chips into his mouth ever few minutes as he considered life, the universe, and everything.*
And if he kept giggling a little like a four year old every few minutes, well, what of it?

He didn't sit up. He was still grinning.

"Have you listened to the radio lately?" he asked.
no subject
"Not in the last couple days."

He didn't want to think about his father during HIS time. That would be up there in the wrong and scary.
"Some months before I was born, actually."
He swallowed.
"Just walked into the store and asked me for the next play they're doing down at the play house, apparently. At least, that's what they said when I delivered dinner later."
He turned to look at Michael.
"My father, of all people."
no subject
"Your father, huh? That's great."
He even sounded like he meant it unreservedly.

"S-Should it be c-congratulations?" she asked him, smiling. "I h-heard on r-radio a-about your father."
no subject
"It doesn't have to be but they're appreciated," he said with a smile as he sat up.
"And how have you been, Hinata? I haven't seen you the last couple of days."
