Deck Area/Patio [Sunday Afternoon]

Hannibal wouldn't miss the cabins much. Sure, they were fine for that rustic, I'm a Boy Scout kinda vibe but he liked the privacy of the dorms and he loved this deck. That's why, as soon as he was moved, he was back out on the deck, sprawled in a chair and enjoying the warm but not hot weather.

He kind of missed all the foreign locales they'd been to but this place wasn't bad. It was different, if anything. Good way not to get restless and it wasn't landlocked, either.

Hannibal quietly wished for a few things that would make this day even better and then hoped his wishes would come true.

Johnny hadn't actually taken advantage of the deck area yet, and Sunday afternoon seemed the perfect opportunity. So he took it.

Coke in hand, he settled into a lounge chair and kicked his feet up, glancing over at the other guy with a nod of his head a pleasant, "How's it going?"

"Can't complain," Hannibal said, looking over at the new arrival. "You? Miss the cabins?"

"Can't complain myself," he replied affably. "Not at all," Johnny grinned. "I prefer my girlfriend in my room where the door can shut and lock. You?"

"No girlfriend but we agree on the privacy thing," he said and laughed. "Though, I do live with a girl and...I've missed being in just a room with her."

Johnny laughed. "Is she pretty?"

Savannah wandered out onto the deck after showering. She had been happy to move back into the dorms -- wasn't a cabin lover -- and had gone for a quick work out before hitting the showers. Now wearing a tank top dress with he damp hair hanging free, she was feeling a lot happier.

"I think so," he said, nodding happily. "She's promised to wear a grass skirt sometime too. So, you know, there's legs upcoming."

"Hello there," Hannibal greeted, smiling at her. "Welcome to the deck. Haven't met you yet. Travesty on my part."

"Ooh, a leg man," Johnny made a purring noise. "You know, I once had two Victorias Secret models in a flight simulator. Legs like you wouldn't believe."

Savannah smiled back. "I'm Savannah."

"Please tell me that the only flying you were doing was metaphorical," Hannibal said.

"Hey, you," Johnny said the moment he spotted her.

"Hannibal King," he said, nodding. "Not new here anymore but still fairly new here to not have met everyone. And I'm...gonna guess you are not new."

He chuckled, looked supremely pleased with himself. "Broke the simulator."

The dorms really were much nicer all around. If only for the lack of bugs around.

...Teddy would always be a city boy.

"Hey!"

"Nice," Hannibal said, smiling and nodding. "Been awhile since I've been with two. Ah, memories."

"Hey, Teddy," Hannibal said, waving. "The cabins didn't eat you!"

"Nope, been here since last summer. Nice to meet you, Hannibal."

Savannah's smile got brighter when she saw him. "Hey you."

Teddy gave him a confused look for a moment. "...did someone tell you that happens?"

"Well, no, but I wouldn't doubt it does in this place," he said. "I was joking with you."

"It was sometime ago. I try not to dwell," he said with a wry grin. "By the way, I'm Johnny Storm. I don't think we've met."

"You too," he replied. "So, year anniversary or something like that, huh? Guess you like it here if you're still here. That or you can't go home. Or...some other reason I'm missing."

"You look... fresh," he said, grinning at her.

She grinned. "I like it here, and I'm safe here, too." She tilted her head. "How do you like it?"
