4th Floor Common Room, Monday Afternoon
It was probably best not to speculate on the hows or more importantly, the whys, of Viki having wound up checking out books on knitting.
She wasn’t quite sure herself.
Viki couldn’t really find it in her to be put out, even mildly though, as she sat perched on the back of the couch and watched three kittens (that had been three books) play ferociously with the yarn she’d bought.
It must also be said that she wasn’t sure what had possessed her to go and buy yarn, but that at least had been a decision she’d made. Books that turned into kittens…
Ah well. She lobbed another ball of yarn into their midst and grinned as they went speeding after it.

"Aw, they're adorable," she enthused, making her way over. "Yours?"

"I don't think I noticed either way," she noted. "Do you pay much attention to fashion?"

"Lycra... tends to draw the attention."

"They dress up in brightly coloured costumes, that practically scream 'look at me'. Then wear a mask, so no one knows who they are."

It did cross Turtle's mind that they might not have been kittens at other moments. This was Fandom, after all.

A thoughtful pause.
"Unless they were merely appearing to be books before..."

Mostly, though, it was saying that there probably wasn't enough aspirin in the world to recover from that.

She blinked. "Think about it only a little? Why shouldn't I think about it more, or less I suppose but that's hardly the point at the moment, if I find it interesting?"
