Maybe Turtle Wexler had just been going to this school for far too long, but when she realized something was starting to go down and then got a full confirmation of it on Friday when she did the radio, she was going to hedge her bets on three things: one, that she was smart enough to give that other island a wide berth for now. Two, that other people were not. And three, that the thing would all be over by the end of the weekend.

She could have been wrong, but she doubted it. So she kept herself busy in another way, and, by the afternoon, the results of her work came into fruition in the lobby of the dormitory, hopefully to the student body returning from that tournament thing with the other island.

She'd put up a great big banner, proclaiming, "GOOD JOB, EVERYONE!" and a smaller sign explaining, "Help yourself to all these snacks and drinks and celebrate another Fandom thing gone and passed! Compliments of T.R. Wexler and Turtle & Canary."

One last hurrah to win some people over for elections under the guise of school spirit and consideration wouldn't hurt, right?
