the roof - thursday early evening - 9/25
Liir had made up a small basket with a decent spread of food: dark ginger cake, a couple of steak sandwiches, a few small jars of something to drink. He wasn't sure if Amber would want dinner here or wherever their flight may take them... or if she wanted to eat before a flight.
Either way, he was content to wait for her there, broom and basket and book (he'd grabbed a book from his room) and all.
[for one, but open like a roof is!]

"Hey!" she called out with a light wave as she stepped out onto the roof.

Then he grinned.
"...I sort of miss being in my normal form myself."

Nodding, she understood, of course. "I miss you being a guy too."
Amber glanced at the basket. "Did you cook?" And just then her tummy rumbled at the thought of food.
no subject
"And yes, I cooked. Put it in a basket too in case you wanted to eat after the flight."
no subject
"Oh, we can eat before or after. Maybe after would be better though?"
[Slowish due to SPN!]

He sighed just a little and looked at the basket.
"And after would probably be best for your stomach. It's all very carefully wrapped, I promise."
He held up the broom a moment later.
"Shall we, then?"
no subject
Amber stood up and grinned. "Yes! I'm ready. And I know the food will be perfectly fine for when we get back."

"My legs will make sure it doesn't slip off."

"You're still up front," he said as he slung a leg over.
"And I'll reach around, under your arms if I have to."

She got on, in front of him and tried to appear small-ish.

"You remember this part, now, don't you?" he asked when he figured she was settled.
no subject
"The taking off part?"
no subject
"Push off with me on one. Two..."
