Shooting Range, Tuesday evening
Momoko was at the shooting range again; this time she was waiting on Lion-o. She was ready to learn how to shoot a gun and this time Rikku was gonna be there to help teach them! Yay for Big Sibs!
The only reason Momoko wasn't bouncing in place was that she was bouncing to and from the door waiting for Rikku and Lion-o to show up.
[Range is open: Momoko is waiting for Lion-o and Rikku, but there's room for other people in here, from what I can see]

"Lion-o? This is my super sis, Rikku!"

Rikku didn't know people had safety restrictions, for playing with weapons.

"Guns are handy because then you've got range," she explained. "I mean, swords and claws are great, but then you have to get up close to use them, which means you'd better be fast or you'd better be able to take a hit. Bombs are good for range, too, but they're way harder to keep to a controlled area."
She pulled her Glock out, frowning at the glasses and ear plugs. "I probably should, huh? Safety and ... whatever?"

She was missing something, here. In the meantime, she was going to hold out her Glock.
"Okay. Uh. Here's something important? The safety. That's ... you wanna keep that flipped on, so that if you bump the gun while you're not aiming it to fire, it doesn't just go off. I mean. You shouldn't bump guns anyway, but this is ... a safety measure."
Hence the name.

She pointed. "So that stops you from being able to shoot? When you want to shoot you have to switch it back? Got it."

Momoko shook her head. "I'm glad I'm learning it's the same here, but who knew I'd need to put salt into a bullet?"

She pulled the magazine out, explaining how to load and unload the gun, and gave a quick onceover of all the useful bits. Not that there were many, but still, she liked talking about her Glock.

"I think... I'm actually understanding this. It's really a lot simpler than I thought."

"I think, on the shotgun we had in class, I think this was over here. And when we loaded it, it wasn't a magazine, but the cartridges went here." She shifted the gun and looked up. "Does that sound right? Even though it's a bit different, it should still act similar, right? When we shoot, I mean?"
