Tony wasn't aware of the movie showing at the gym and so didn't have to make the heart-wrenching choice between Space Battles and Lee Nicholas.

Yes, it was Wednesday at 9 pm, time for Darkest Night again. This week, Raymond Dark and his mortal sidekick James Taylor Grant would uncover an ancient conspiracy of cartographers. Tony had popcorn and soda.

"I hope so," Tony said. "There's one where I come from - Vancouver Film School - that teaches you how to make movies. I want to go there."

"Shiz teaches any number of things. I don't know where I'll end up in all that, but I'd like to go. My, er, my father went there. Graduated as well."

He looked over at Tony.

"What kind of movies do you want to make?"

"Stuff with action but also with good characters and a real story. Not just flashy special effects," Tony said.

"You mean the things that make it look like, say, someone's flying a broom or to give someone a bloody wound when they haven't been harmed."

He settled back in his seat.

"Sounds reasonable. And like you're planning to make the kind of thing anyone would want to see."

"I don't know about that," Tony grinned. "There'll probably be sex, violence, guys making out... parent groups tend to object to that."

His smile in return was just a touch Wicked.

"That doesn't mean they probably wouldn't want to see it," he pointed out. "The ones who look down their noses are still looking, after all."

"Point," Tony smiled. "After all, how can they make lists of all the horrible things in a movie if they don't sit down and watch it? Maybe multiple times."

"Usually, the very things they have trouble with are the ones most like themselves," he said. "Or those things they've always wanted to do or say or have."

Then his cheeks blushed again, but he didn't explain.

"Repressed closet cases are the worst," Tony agreed.

"Nothing I've ever really experienced. But to be fair, I haven't experienced much outside of this place and no one here is really, well, repressed."

"True," Tony smiled. Clearly, neither of them had met the Sex Ed teacher. "One of the things I like about this place."
