Third Floor Common Room, evening

Decked out in appropriate apparel Meg flipped on the TV, set the channel to the game channel then took a seat on the couch in the common room. Her Boston themed sweatshirt and hat should give anyone a good idea of which team she's rooting for.

There's a good chance she'd sic her agents on anyone that even considered changing the channel.

[OOC: Up way before game time because I'm bored, bored, bored. And can I just add? As a Yankee fan it hurts to make this post.]

Angela dropped onto a couch nearby, branching out from the fourth floor by taking herself down a set of stairs.

"Don't need to ask where your support goes," she commented with a smile at Meg, before she sipped at her mug of coffee.

"I just admire the men running around in tight pants," Angela admitted with a grin.

"Any major changes to the game in the last, say, fifteen years or so?" Angela checked. She assumed the answer would be know, but figured she might as well check.

Hurley stuck his head in the common room door.

"Hey," he said. "What's goin' on?"

[identity profile] likes-chicken.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
"...Aw man," Hurley said. "I think we're cheering for different teams." He entered the room properly.

"...Uhhh, I'm kinda from California," Hurley said.

Angela leaned back, looking over her shoulder towards the door.

"Hey, Hurley," she greeted, cracking a smile for him as she did so.

"Hey Angela," Hurley said. "What's up?"

[identity profile] flashesforinfo.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"Men playing sports and coffee," Angela told him, raising her mug. "You?"

[identity profile] likes-chicken.livejournal.com 2008-10-03 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
"Uhhh, I guess baseball and... I got nothin', actually," Hurley said. "Oh well."

"I think we're watching baseball," Claire informed the guy, in the tone of one who can completely contain her excitement at that idea.

"Yeah," Hurley said. "I guess... sports bring people together? Or... somethin'. Hi."

[identity profile] swipedthatfoot.livejournal.com 2008-10-04 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
"Something," Claire said. "I just wanted food. That girl" - Meg - "had to tell me L.A. was even playing."

Peyton wandered in, looking disgruntled. "Hey," she said. "Anything good on?"

Claire was in the common room to make herself some soup, but she glanced at the TV. "So it's already playoffs again?"

Sports weren't really her thing.

"I guess," Claire said, meaning if-you-really-think-so. "I'm going to take a wild guess that you're rooting for Boston."
