First Floor Lobby [Tuesday]

After first period, the lobby once again became home base for Angela and Peyton. They were determined, you had to give them that.

All sign-ups must be in by 9AM Wednesday so we have time to matchmake!

They'd had a fair amount of interest yesterday, but they were still hoping for more. They can be very persuasive when they want to be.

[[ooc: Sign ups and OOC info is all over here. So far, we've got a few more girls than boys. Things don't even up then they (well, Angela anyway) may just start encouraging people to embrace their inner bisexual.]]

She's sitting on one of the couches, probably with coffee in hand, looking through some printouts. Inspiration for cheerleading tryouts later on.

You just know that it'll all get hurriedly dropped if she spies fresh meat, though.

"How many talents do you have?" Hannibal wondered as he wandered up.

"So many more than you know," Angela replied brightly. Vague, but true.

"And here I thought roommates shared everything," he replied, shaking his head. "Now you'll never ever know about my tried and true methods of curing unhappiness."

"Aw, never?" Angela said. "Are you sure about that, I can be really persuasive?"

"It depends on what you mean by being persuasive," Hannibal decided. "Bribing me with chocolate probably won't work."

Angela gave a little laugh. "I have more than just chocolate at my disposal."

"Enlighten me, oh roommate of my mine," he said curiously.

Angela shook her head. "Havent you learned by now that these things are a highly guarded secret of mine?"
I'm not just going to start giving them away."

"But but but, I'm your roommate," he said, feigning shock. "Angela, dearest, we're supposed to share."

Angela arched a skeptical eyebrow. "You share everything that goes through your head with me?" she asked.

"Well." He had the decency to blush. "There are some things I don't share."

She did try and suppress her amusement a little. It's not Angela's fault she isn't that great at it.

"And I'm going to say that's probably a good thing."

"Maybe some of what I don't tell you is about you," he said and that wasn't a complete lie. It was actually pretty honest.

Angela wasn't an easy one to make blush, but that implication actually did the job. She looked for a moment like she might say something, then appeared to decide against it. Probably a wise move on her part..

"Interested in a hot date for Friday night?" Or not. That was supposed to be a swift subject change.

It was sort of smooth. Maybe... Okay not.

He was pleased to see the blush, momentarily not paying attention to her actual question because he liked that blush so much.

"Depends on who the other person is," he said easily.

Well, he'd better make the most of it, because she was rapidly regaining her composure.

"I can't tell you," she said. "Not knowing is all part of the fun of the thing."

"And here I was, thinking you were asking me out," he teased lightly.

"I'm sacrificing my chance, to ask you out for one of these lovely girls," she said, leaning over to tap the box. Yes, techincally her name might be in the rotation if the numbers worked out, but that wasn't really the point here.

"You almost sound like you're trying to bribe me," he said and glanced at the box.

"Its not bribery, it's creative marketing," Angela replied smoothly.

"So, I add my name to the box and you're going to set me up with someone?" he asked, glancing at the box again.

"Exactly," Angela replied. "Well, either Peyton or I, anyway," she clarified, indicating the other girl in the room.

If part of her was at all hesitant about this move, it was obviously being carefully squashed.

"Hmm." He pretended to think it over. "I could just go alone and all, you know. Get all dressed up and take myself to the dance."

"You could," Angela agreed, nodding slightly. "But the you might be denying a dateless girl the pleasure of your company."

"I might have to think about it," he said. "I mean, sure, I'd love to get matched up with someone, put on a suit and tie, take them out to dinner, slow dance with said girl the entire time--and I'm really good at that--and then back home for whatever but going alone..."

He shrugged. "I'm undecided."

"Going alone does mean you'll get your pick of all the single girls," Angela supplied with a little smile.

"No, but it means I could get dances with all of them," he pointed out.

"Or that," Angela said with a little snicker. "You'll have a busy night."

She's here and really hoping they get more people signed up!
