It had been entirely too long since Aravis had truly appreciated her insomnia.

Which was why Tuesday evening found her curled up on the couch with a truly spectacular and moddable array of candy before her, and her dog lounging at her feet. Aravis hadn't settled on anything to watch, so she just plaintively flipped through channels, appreciating a few seconds of each program.

"You think filmmakers really experience these things?" she asked.

"No," Wendy shook her head. "But that doesn't mean that they don't think about them."

"They likely don't understand, though," Aravis pointed out softly with a sad little smile. "They just operate off of imagination and fear."

"But people who did understand probably wouldn't include that much gore," Wendy replied.

"True," Aravis agreed. "Which is less entertaining and too much like reality."

"Much better to stick with zombie movies," Wendy agreed.
