The Gym, Wednesday Afternoon -- Cheerleading Practice

Surprisingly enough, Savannah got to the gym early and pulled out everything that they needed for practice. She carefully laid out the mats and set up the refrshments on the table. She wrote up the sign up sheet and then started the portable radio with some upbeat music.

After everything was in the correct place, she flopped down on one of the mats.

No really, she was stretching. See, her foot is flexing.

"Cosmo's a magazine for girls," he pointed out. "No way am I gonna read that."

"Then I guess you you'll never know." Said with the cheerful smugness of someone who Knows Things.

"But I do have some copies around if you change your mind."

"And you'll never know if I am flexible like that magazine says I should be," he countered.

"Never say never," Angela shot back. "You just don't know what leverage I might pick up along the way."

"You don't know that much about me," he said. "No skeletons in my closet."

Angela cocked her head to look at him carefully. "I'm sure I can figure out something if I feel like I need a demonstration," she said.

"If not, I can just move on to bribery. Always a viable option."

"Well, now that you've warned me of bribery, I can resist it," he replied.

"Please, I can handle a little bit of forewarning," she said, grinning across at him. "You just can't say no to me."

"I bet you I could," Hannibal said. "I've got willpower."

"And I'm a girl," Angela replied simply. "We have our ways."

"And I know you're gunning for me," he said and grinned. "I can resist."

Angela shrugged innocently, "You keep telling yourself that."

"Anyway, I should be getting more sleep this week. Might actually have the brainpower to figure something out."

"Is Dragon gone or something?" Hannibal asked curiously.

"I only had to look after him a week," Angela replied. "My week is up, and I am free once again."

"Aww, poor Dragon, all gone," he said and frowned. "Do you miss him?"

"It's like a hole in my heart," Angela said, patting her chest dramatically.

"How'd he do the whole week?" Hannibal asked. "Good fake kid?"

"Could've been a lot worse," Angela decided. "Not that I'm not glad to have my free time and sleep time back and all my own."

"You're so gonna miss little Dragon," he decided.

Angela shook her head with a little laugh. "I will not miss it waking me up at 4am," she said.

"That just mean he loved you," Hannibal decided. "And wanted to prove it early."

"Love is being my personal alarm clock. Why didn't I think of it that way?"

Probably at least partially because she's not at her brightest when she's been woken up at that hour.

"Because I am a genius," he said and mock bowed. "And I am here to point these things out."

"Always wondered why I kept you around," she teased.

"Because you liiiiiike me," Hannibal said. "I hope."
