4th Floor Common Room [Friday Late Morning]

Angela wasn't a big chef. Or one at all, actually. But she had a sudden craving for some sort of brunch this morning, so she was in the common room making pancakes.

Okay they were microwave pancakes, but they were pancakes none the less. They still tasted good, and smelt even better, and that was good enough for her.

"You don't cook peanut butter and jelly," Angela reminded him with a little smile. "It's not technically part of the deal."

"If I toast the bread, it so is cooking," he argued.

"Hey." Angela stretched to give him a playful nudge with her foot. "If I'm making pasta, you better pull out something that isn't just PBJ toast," she told him.

"That's just an emergency backup plan," he said and flicked the bottom of her foot.

Angela scrunched up her toes, and shoved her feet safely back under that cushion. "Do I get to know what the real plan is, or is it some big secret?"

"Well, I haven't made the plans yet so I can't tell you," he replied. "I have to make the secret before keeping it."

"You have a back up plan, for a plan you don't even have yet," Angela said. "That's some preparation right there."

"Peanut butter and jelly is always my backup plan no matter what," he explained.

"Mine's probably instant noodles," Angela admitted. "I get chow mein cravings sometimes."
