Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

It wasn't like Jess hadn't known that Anakin hated him. But he hadn't been aware of exactly how much he was hated until he'd spent a full day with Jar Jar Binks. They were only around Buffy for a few minutes before she and Jess both agreed that Jar Jar couldn't stay in their room, so they'd mostly been in town instead, with Jess spending most of his time trying to make sure Jar Jar bumped into as few things as possible. When evening rolled around, he decided they had no other option but to camp out in the common room again, and if anyone had a problem with that, Jess figured he could just make the person talk to Jar Jar for a few minutes, and they'd understand. Or, they'd at least flee for the sake of their sanity.

Out of desperation, Jess had turned on the television, and by some miracle, discovered that Jar Jar was absolutely fascinated by the Home Shopping Network's gem collection. Sure, it wasn't keeping him totally quiet, but he was occupied enough that Jess could think about making food without wondering what he could slip sleeping pills into.

"Meesa from Naboo," he said. "Far from here. Where are yousa from?"

"Vancouver, Canada," Tony said. "Not quite as far, I think. Is that another planet or another dimension?"

"Itsa both!" Jar Jar explained. "Meesa met Ani there!"

"Annie? Is she a student?" Tony asked.

"No, Ani-kin Skywalker!" Jar Jar said. "Hesa teaches here and has lots of students."

"You're friends with a teacher? How'd you end up here?" Tony gestured around the common room.
