Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Afternoon (after classes)

It had been entirely too long since Jeff last took a moment (or five, or maybe a day) to watch some of his absolute favorite movies. Old favorites such as The Globule were on the menu, of course, but he was also hoping to catch sight of some of those new vampire movies he'd heard about.

So he had his feet propped up on the table, a bowl of popcorn in his hands, and people screaming liberally on the television. Life was good.

[ open like an open common room! ]

Robin was looking to be sociable, so he checked the common rooms to see what was going on.

He wasn't so sure this was a good idea considering what was on the TV. "Uhm, what are you watching?"

Robin made a soft "meep" noise. "That sounds scary."

Thanks to Self-Defense Club, it wasn't until toward the end of the movie that Turtle, on her way to her room, peeked into the common room, saw Jeff there, saw him undoubtedly transfixed, and hesitated.

And then she decided to go ahead, come in, sit down beside him and, quietly as to not interrupt too much, say, "Hi, Jeff."

Turtle's nose wrinkled. "Looks like I came in at just the right time," she muttered, voice dripping with sarcasm.

"...I'm not sure I remember that one," Turtle admitted.

Turtle waited, though she was very delicately and hopefully subtly turning her head to hide against Jeff's shoulder because she thought this part was just gross.

"How can you eat something after watching that?"

Sokka peered at the television, and then flopped down on the couch. "They're doing it wrong," he announced. "They're supposed to eat the Jell-O, not the other way around."

Robin, despite his fright at the movie, and not quite watching, giggled.

"Seriously," Sokka told him. "I mean, that's not a monster, it's DESSERT!"

"They should try fighting back with spoons."

Turtle gave Sokka a little wave. "Hey, Sokka; how was work today?"

Sokka shrugged. "Oh, you know how it is. That evil boss of mine just rides me all day long."

Then he broke out in a grin.

"I'll have to talk to G'Kar about being nicer to you guys, then," Turtle shot back without missing a beat and giving Sokka a smirk back.
