Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning
After a relatively comfortable night in the stables, Karal had brought Trenor back to the dorms. He wanted treats, so Karal had agreed to make him breakfast.
Thankfully, his meagre cooking skills were not to be tested. Trenor, on a mad exploration of the common room, had discovered that chocolate fell into his waiting hands every time he opened a cupboard door.
Oh, Sunlord. Karal sank down to sit on the couch, Altra perched on its back so Karal could watch Trenor. "Be careful, Trenor," he called, and, unsurprisingly, there was a sudden crash.
"Oops." Trenor, shamefaced, picked up the pot. "It's not broken, see!" He trotted over to wave it at Karal and Altra, both of whom ducked.
"Umm, that's good. Why don't you see if you can find more chocolate? I'm sure Aravis would like some."
Trenor happily went back to opening cupboards and catching chocolate. He was amassing quite a pile.
[ooc: Everywhere, chocolate, wheeeee-eeeeee; it be open as a common room be! ETA: Sleep has ambushed me all unexpected, much like the GIANT COCKROACH that was just on my bedroom wall. Nightmares, I tell you. Nightmares. Happily pick up any pings in the morning.]

"Nana!" he called, "Come back!"
All things considered, dealing with Nana as a human wasn't much different than dealing with Nana as a dog.

Altra jumped off the couch and padded over, Karal watching through his eyes from his spot on the couch.

Trenor turned back and looked earnestly at Nana. "Do you want to play?" Ignoring the fact that his idea of playing with Nana had, to this point, involved chasing her while she fled in terror.

"...Wot?" Nana repeated, backing away herself. "You! Stinky bad-nose!"

Best morning ever.

Karal hopped off the couch, and he and Altra made there way over. "Good morning, Ben," he said with a smile. "This is Trenor. He's," he paused, gave a mental shrug, and finished, "usually a horse."

Though noting the commotion in the kitchen, she was slightly distracted by being seriously amused.
