Third Floor Common Room; Sunday Evening [ 12/07].
Chad was finding out that cooking with your cat was much easier when your cat suddenly had hands and opposable thumbs and could reach the counter all on his own.
The weirdness factor of the fact that Prince Oscar Pedro was a lanky bald fellow that occasionally would lick himself had worn off pretty quickly. It usually did around Chad.
And tonight they were making encheladas, with more than enough to spare for anyone else and their humanized pets.
[[ open CR is open! It's slow enough at work for me to post this, but not to answer with alacrity, so SP from me for about the next two hours or so. Wanted to get it out, though, yaaay! ]]

"Hi. I'm Lois," she said when she came in. "What are you making and can I have some? Actually, I don't even care what you're making. Can I just have some?"

"You're telling me," sniffed Prince Oscar Pedro.

"Oh, yeah," Chad said. "Word of advice. Never name your cat after royalty just because your boyfriend is an emperor."

"Prince Oscar Pedro Neko-kun," he recited, his tone bored.
There was a pause.
"The Third."

And then Chad just tilted his head at the boy. "You got us," he said. "But I'm not so good."
