Self-Defense Club, The Gym, Monday afternoon

"Sometimes protecting yourself means more than just knowing how to knock out an attacker," said Hoshi. "We've already talked about having a plan in case you're attacked. But what do you do if you're in a burning building? Do you know the fastest way to get out? Do you get out, or do you go find your friends first?"

Hoshi passed out some information packets before continuing. It was worth noting that there was lots of reading material. She may have gone a little overboard. "So I've been reading stuff about how people behave during a disaster, and unfortunately, a lot of people tend to freeze up during in an emergency because that's their first instinct. Their next response to is communicate with others around them or go looking for others. There's even cases when people go back to the bar for another drink before getting out of a burning restaurant. Unfortunately, that means most people lose valuable time when they could be getting to safety. Today, we're going to share our experiences on surviving disasters and work on creating escape plans for when the unthinkable happens. Oh, and the punching bags are still set up, if any of you guys still want to work out."

"Liir rescued me from Hell."

Yes, that was all she wanted to share on that.

"You know," Turtle admitted after a moment of thought, "I'm not even sure I know where to start."

"I think it's actually safe to say that I've avoided them pretty well so far," Cal mused.

Quite frankly, anything he'd experienced her was no where near traumatic as some of the shit that had gone down in his real life. He wouldn't relate any of those here, for obvious reasons, but a lot of them were pretty freaking hard to top.

"Two of the big ones was that I survived being kidnapped by trolls and from turning into a shadow," Naomi said, once she had thought about it and the mun remembered.

"I was a rock when Greek mythology attacked," Dick said. "And my roommate hid me safely until I was back to normal. That's about all my experience in Fandom's stuff."

"I survived being kidnapped by trolls and the plague," Summer said. "And I stomped on a demonic spider once. I think there was a lot of survival instinct there."

Oh, he had a lot of tips. On flight safety, how to get out of bad situations and how to save your buddies when the MPs or other law enforcement snagged them.

He was actually kind of hoping someone would ask him a few questions.
