At least it was a productive outlet for anger?

Ben laughed. "I don't think this counts as me running away from home," he said, "but if it does, the island seems to be providing me enough sugar to keep me happy for a while."

"I've got to admit," Cal said. "I'm a little wary about eating sugar straight from the sky. Then again, I'm from a place where the snow could probably be considered toxic, so..."

"I was thinking of using an umbrella today when I went out for hot chocolate, but I figured I'd probably get mocked," Ben admitted.

Cal grinned a little. "That sounds very sensible, if anything."

For Cal, it was girls. It would always be girls.

And ice cream sundaes.
