Outside the Front Door; Late Saturday Morning [ 12/20 ].

And so the morning had come, after a night of sleeping over stolen goods in anticipation for the claiming of true justice and vindication. Turtle was quite often a very law-abiding citizen, but, every once in a while, true good stretched beyond the arm of the law and a little bit of vigilantism was just required.

She and Dick had been successful in obtaining the gym uniforms.

Now came the fun part.

Inside a camp-place approved fire ring settled outside the front doors of the dormitory, a great flame danced up toward the air, fed by the slow-burning and slightly smelly uniforms, each piece tossed joyfully in, each lick of fire causing a shock of gleeful retribution.

And, of course, there were more than enough uniforms for other to help in the victory against awfulness. It made Turtle wonder why they even had so many; it didn't seem very economical.

[[ partner-in-justice modded with permission, and the uniforms were stolen and burned with permission as well! Come help! I can't speak for my cohort, but I'll be on super-SP for family things as well as a broken computer, but of course it's completely, entirely, utterly open! Burn, baby, burn! ]]

"We've done a good thing here," Dick said. "Future classes will thank us."

[OOC: SP for me during the afternoon/evening, but I'm around for a while!]

"We should have gotten somebody to write a ballad," Dick said. "That's the only thing that could make this better."

Sokka stood and watched them silently for a bit.

"Uh... You really hate these things THIS much???"

"We didn't do this out of hate. We did this out of love for our fellow students," Dick said. If there were a brass band behind Dick, they would have started playing a heroic theme right now. But there wasn't. So they didn't. Dick continued on without background music. "Now future classes won't have to suffer with ill-fitting, smelly, ugly gym uniforms the way we did."

Sokka raised an incredulous eyebrow. "You realize he can just buy more, right?"

"But they likely won't be as old and smelly. And maybe, just maybe, the new ones will be less ugly," Dick said.
