The Deck - Saturday Afternoon
Chuck would be the first person to admit that he preferred winter weather infinitely more to summer weather, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy the sudden bout of sun and warmth. He was heading back to New York tomorrow for break and he knew that it was going to be effing freezing there. So he was enjoying the nice weather while he could.
He was leaning back into one of the deck chairs wearing shorts and a button-down shirt. There was a book in his hand and a Screwdriver (the drink, not the tool) on the ground beside him.

"You know, in New York, a girl runs a website that tracks everything you're doing. She goes by Gossip Girl," Chuck said. Yeah, he might be aware of the fact that he might be making Jeff paranoid by sharing this. "She has spies that follow your every move and takes pictures on their phones. Then she sends out text messages to every one in the city telling them about your business."
Okay, so it was more like only the Upper East Side and Chuck himself has sent in stuff to Gossip Girl before. Still, he was merely trying to prove Jeff's point about phones and their danger.

Jeff looked at him. "I always knew about the secret listeners," he said, his voice low and serious. "People told me I was mad, but there's been squirrels, and now there's secret spies around. I've known it since that incident with Mary Simmons and the answering machine. Well, alright, I've known it since my mother told me about the Captain. ...Perhaps he's dating Gossip Girl."
That made him nervous. Being Jeff, the difference wasn't really visible.

He wasn't really used to talking about weird things, even after being here for a few months.
