The Deck - Saturday Afternoon

Chuck would be the first person to admit that he preferred winter weather infinitely more to summer weather, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy the sudden bout of sun and warmth. He was heading back to New York tomorrow for break and he knew that it was going to be effing freezing there. So he was enjoying the nice weather while he could.

He was leaning back into one of the deck chairs wearing shorts and a button-down shirt. There was a book in his hand and a Screwdriver (the drink, not the tool) on the ground beside him.

"Oooh, can I get a hint as to how?" he asked curiously.

"I'd rather just let your imagination roam," he said.

"Cruel," Hannibal said, smirking. "Hopefully the island doesn't get invaded by topless girls while you're gone."

"I will expect an immediate phone call and lots of pictures should that occur," Chuck said, snickering. "If only the island ended up near Brazil. Topless girls that don't speak English. I love it."

"I'll see what I can do," he said. "My luck, we'll be invaded by women with beards or something."

"Ugh. Don't jinx yourself," he said. "Call me in that case too. I'll have you up to New York and away from bearded women in no time."

"You're such a friend," he said. "Hopefully it's just quiet. Quiet's good too. Maybe I can make use of the quiet."

"I don't want to hear about what you and your right hand have planned, thank you," Chuck replied with a grin.

"Fine, I won't take pictures for you then," he quipped, "since I know how you must get off on the thought of that."

"You beating off is definitely towards the bottom on the list of things that turns me on," Chuck said. But it wouldn't have been omitted from the list or anything.

"But it's on the list," Hannibal said, unable not to catch that.

"It's a long list. There's all sorts of things on there," Chuck replied.

"A long list just for little ole me?" Hannibal asked. "Chuck, I'm flattered."

"I can't help that I'm very thorough," he said with a sly smirk.

"I'm just surprised you've spent that much time thinking about it," he said and grinned.

"Well compared to New York there's a severe lack of social engagements to participate in here," Chuck said. "I've got to do something with my abundance of free time."

"You should have let me in on this sooner," Hannibal said. "We could have done something about it."

"Oh? You saying we can't do anything about it now?" he asked.

"Not what I'm saying at all," he replied, grinning again. "I didn't want to distract you before your trip and all."

"I'd like to see you try to get me that distracted," he said with a challenging look in his eye.

"I've been challenged before," he said, meeting that look with a smug one of his own. "And I've never let one challenger unsatisfied."

"There's always a first time for everything," he said. Not that he'd think Hannibal would leave him unsatisfied. Chuck just liked being a bitch.

"Someone's just asking for it," Hannibal said, pushing himself slowly out of his chair.

Chuck gulped down the rest of his drink before moving to get out of his chair. "Prove me wrong."

"Ask me nicely," he said, stopping just in front of Chuck. He was going to do it anyway but this is just to see what Chuck would do.
