4th Floor Common Room [Tuesday, Evening]

While Angela couldn't really cook all that well, she did have money and could work a take out menu with the best of them. So for her part in providing a festive sort of atmosphere, she'd ordered a whole bunch of take out that she'd happily share with anyone else sticking around for the holidays. It may not seem like particularly seasonal food to most people, but the thought was there.

She herself was curled up on a couch in front of the television flicking through the various Christmas specials that seemed to be airing tonight.

Seriously, the whole smelling better thing was driving him crazy and Ichigo had somehow managed to wander off from Ino again, following his nose. His nose said there was food in the common room and for some reason he was hungry again. So it was a good thing it was Angela in there as she was nice and would help him to food, right?

He trotted over to the table and barked to get her attention.

The bark startled her a little, and she turned to look towards the source. Angela wasn't used to having her attention demanded by hungry foxes.

"Aww, Hi." Way more interesting than anything on TV. "You're so cute!"

He was just going to imagine that cute from now on meant manful, or something. Yep.

He barked again, possibly saying hi to Angela and then turned back to the table. It smelled good, dammit!

Angela uncurled herself from her comfy spot to make her way over. You couldn't quite tell if animals around here were just someone's pet, or actually someone. She was a little curious.

"Hungry?" she asked as she crouched down near him. "I think we can find you something."

He barked once, which clearly meant yes and moved closer to say hi. He honestly had no idea how to tell Angela who he was. With Ino it had been easy.

Aww. Yeah, still cute. Not manly in the slightest. Sorry, Ichigo.

"Am I supposed to know you?" she asked as she reached out to pet him. "Or are you always like this?"

He barked once at the first question and moved closer to let her pet him.

"See, I did think a fox was a bit of an odd pet," she said, ruffling the fur behind his ears. "But when people like Chuck have monkeys you really can't be sure."

"Stupid," she muttered under her breath as she hefted her backpack over her shoulder and peered into the common room. "Hey, Angela."

"Ino!" Angela smiled at her. "Hey. You eat yet?"

"I had a smoothie?" Ino said, kneeling down to peer under one of the couches. "Does that count as food? What do you have?"

"Chinese food and pizza," Angela replied, watching her curiously a moment. "Did you lose something?" she asked.

Who'd want to have monkeys for pet? Wouldn't they just make a whole lot of mess? His eyes were half closed and he tilted his head, letting her ruffle behind his ears as much as she wanted.

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to snag some food if you don't mind. And someone actually," she said ruefully. "Small, fuzzy, and orange. Ridiculously cute. Have you seen anyone fitting that description?"

It couldn't be said that a monkey was a pet Angela would've gone for either, but he did make for a pretty hot human, creepy as that sounded.

"See, I give you fuss, and you just forget all about the food," she teased.

He barked in response, possibly trying to indicate that he hadn't forgotten, he was just postponing. He had priorities.

Angela smirked, possibly putting two and two together at this point.

"About so big?" she asked, indicating a distance between her hands. "Sort of fox shaped?"

"Or not," Angela laughed. "What sort of Chinese food would you be into?" she mused, deciding pizza probably wasn't the thing to feed a fox, even if that fox might normally be a person. "You feel strongly about crispy duck?"

He licked his nose in reply, which was definitely agreement, but then he seemed to be liking anything right now.

"A little more than sort of fox shaped," she said dryly. "He still 'round here, at least?"

She gave him one last scritch under his chin and stood up to poke around in the food boxes she had on the table and pick some out for him.

"You better not be allergic to any of this," she warned him. Not that she expected anything like that with plain duck, but it was better to disclaim these things.

Course he wasn't! He moved closer to the table, leaning his head up as far as he could to watch her. Then wondered why the hell he was waiting and jumped up on the chair to get a closer look.

Angela nodded, gesturing towards the pile of floor cushions, which was jiggling a little, apparently all on its own. It was more likely to be due to the exploration of a certain human-turned-fox under there somewhere.

"Is that who I think it is?" she asked with a broad grin.

"If you're thinking Ichigo," Ino said, contemplating the cushion pile before setting her backpack neatly on the couch and meandering over to the pizza, "then you're entirely right."

"I'm assuming you can actually understand me here," she said as she put a few pieces onto a plate.

"Guess it doesn't really matter if you can't. I'd probably talk to you anyway."
