Fourth floor common room, Sunday evening

Dean was in the kitchen cooking up some hamburgers. He was making more than even he could eat because he knew how food around here seemed to conjure up people to eat it.

He'd brought his ghetto blaster out too and was singing along to Metallica as he cooked.

There was no ice in the fridge on the third floor. Chuck needed ice with his scotch. So he took his bottle and a glass up a floor to another fridge. It just figured Dean would be up there singing god knows what as he cooked...something.

"Winchester," Chuck said, not bothering to look at Dean as he opened up the freezer.

"Ass," Dean replied. "I mean Bass."

Sokka took a look at Chuck's bottle and grinned. "Rum and burgers! AWESOME idea!!!"

Ahhh, the smell of food -- good food, like MEAT -- and the sound of good music. Both were like siren's calls to Sokka, who showed up in the door.

"DEAN!!!" he shouted, raising a hand for a high five. "You are my FAVORITE PERSON EVER!!!"

Dean chuckled. "Hungry I take it?"

Eventually, the need for food beat the desire to spend her entire day in bed, and Angela ventured into the common room. She still hadn't really bothered to do more than pull on sweatpants and a hoodie. Today was not the day for dressing up.

"Ooh, food and Metallica. Nice mixture," she teased.

"I like to think so," Dean said, grinning at her. "Help yourself."

Sokka waved at Angela. "Greetings, person I should probably get to know better! Awesome meat, and awesome music -- what could be better?"

Molly was drawn out of her room by the amazing smell of cooking meat and she followed her nose to the third floor, where she tried to look extra cute at Dean in the hopes he'd let her mooch. "Happy New Year. What are we listening to?"

"Mellica's Unforgiven," Dean said, giving her a welcome smile.

"Hey, Molly," Peyton said with a grin. "Good to see you."

"What year and/or world are you from?" Sokka had to ask. Because, he was from a world without ELECTRICITY, and he still knew who Metallica were.

"Some in the fridge," Dean told her. "Hi."

"You know, sometimes you want to have the burgers without cheese," Sokka pointed out. "In order to better savor the flavor."

"Hey, Peyton," Ronan said, with a bit of a wave. "How's it going?"

"Oh, he does look good when he cooks," Angela remarked, shooting Peyton a teasing grin.

"Did you know that you have a twin?" Alice asked, peering into the common room and spotting her older brother. "Unless you decided this morning to rid yourself of the mohawk, in which case, I hope that you slept well and you should know that now, you look even more like Dean."

Dean chuckled. "Priestly, yeah. We met yesterday. And he's not the first double I've had. Alec -- my best friend -- looks like me too. Apparently I have a face the universe loves."

Sokka blinked at Alice, confused. "Alec has a mohawk now?"

"Food," Triela nodded in approval. "That I can get behind. But... what in the world are you listening to?" It was clear that that part, at least, did not get her approval.

"Metallica," Dean said sounding a little wounded. "One of the greatest bands ever."

"Please tell me you have enough to share," Ronan said, as he wandered into the common room from upstairs. "Please."

He paused. "Also, hi, Dean."

Dean chuckled. "Hey Rowan. And yeah, help yourself."

When he got back to Fandom, Sam went straight upstairs to look for Dean, and was quite happy that he didn't have to go far.

"Dude, must you subject the new people to Metallica already?" he teased. "They just got here."

After her workout in the afternoon, Dinah wandered for a bit, then found her way upstairs, following her nose. She hovered in the door a little bit, wondering if it was okay to just go in and see what everyone was eating.
