Cheerleading Practice, Gym [Wednesday, After Classes]

Angela was feeling so very much more cheerful today than the last time she did this, and was down early to set out the mats, sign in sheet, and put out bottles of water. Hydration is key, as always.

That done, she threw in a CD, upped the volume and settled down on the mats to warm up.

"Nothing you're going to hate," Angela promised with a laugh. "Or, shouldn't, anyway."

"Just looking for someone to put a little pressure on my back," she made a point of reaching towards her spread feet in her indication of a stretch. "Supposed to be working my flexibility here."

"I think I can do that," he said, scooting behind her and pressing down on her back gently. "Good?"

"Good," she assured him as she stretched down. "There's a certain point where you really can't do it quite as effectively by yourself."

"I can barely get that far so you're better than me," he said, keeping the light pressure against her back.

"That's why we do this, and you do the actual heavy lifting here," Angela said as she walked her fingers forward on the floor.

"Little bit more," she told him.

He nodded and pushed a little harder, peeking over her shoulder so he could make sure he wasn't hurting her.

"I'd tell you if you were doing anything wrong," she assured Hannibal, glancing to the side to look at him.

Angela pulled a bit of a face as she put one last bit of effort into her stretch. Not exactly comfortable for long periods of time. "Much as it would be useful, I'm not actually psychic."

Angela smiled, moving her head slightly in a sort of nod. "I would tell you that too."

"Okay, ow, I'm done," she decided after just a moment or two longer.

Angela grinned over her shoulder as she shook her legs out to loosen the muscles again. "I appreciate the help, thank you."
