The Range - Girls With Guns [Tuesday afternoon]

Triela was grinning as she set up her gun cases today. Because, really, it was great to have the club back. She'd missed it.

She ran over the list of people who'd signed up in her head. It was a good group, and when she started moving forward with some of her more interesting plans for the club this semester, they'd hopefully have fun.

"Don't forget to introduce yourself when you come in," Triela reminded people as they arrived. "And don't forget to tell me about your holiday."

She was allowed to be nosy. It was club day!

"No denying," Turtle allowed, "that I've improved thanks to the club."

As to whether or not that was a good thing, Turtle wasn't so sure. She was smart enough to know to avoid mentioning her mixed ethics about the whole thing.

Dinah was really just trying to figure out how she felt about all this. Guns weren't something that got used for fighting crime in New Gotham; too easy for civilians to get hurt. But it felt like something she ought to know about. It wasn't like the criminals were going to stop using them.

Triela shrugged, "I'm not entirely sure we'll be doing the club next year. I mean, I want to, but... I suspect something might come up." Back home.

"It's no big deal. And, hey, I might end up pleasantly surprised."

"That's true, too," Turtle said with a nod. "But, I mean, even if you do end up going, no reason the club can't keep on. I could always pick up where you left off, too, even if it'll be my senior year and I'll probably be very busy, but being busy means being productive."

Turtle hadn't picked up the gun in a bit, so she made sure everything was working well on it before hitting the range. And hitting her target fairly well with her usual, precise shots.
