First Floor Lobby - Wednesday Morning
Chris woke up and realized that he was cold. And it was dark. Very dark.
He sighed, realizing the power was out. He tucked an extra blanket around Summer and left her a note that he'd be in the lobby.
Then he orbed out to the mainland and returned with several big containers of coffee and assorted pastries from an Einstein Brothers.
Anyone wandering past would smell the coffee and notice the faint glow of orbs he had magicked up to light the room.

Which he assumed was good, but he'd hate to assume and then take someone else's coffee.

"Help yourself," he said. "I brought plenty."

He was probably going to hang out by the containers for a bit. This might take several cups before he reached a cognitive, communicative level, here.

And heat. That was important too.

"...Dios, my cat is going to freeze to death."
Which wasn't true. Prince Oscar Pedro was already planning on stealing as much heat from Galliano and Camilla as possible. They had more than enough warm fur to spare between the two of them.

No, Chad; Prince Oscar Pedro very pointedly destroyed them. There was a big difference.

He hated the thought of a poor, helpless cat freezing in this weather.

Pause.
"And-or living together."

"....Awwwww."
Yeah, that just about summed up Chad's thoughts on cute floppy little bunnies. Summed it up because inside he was just melting at the idea.

Chris smiled. "Yeah, her name is Pancakes. She's pretty cute."

"That's really cute."

"Was that really weird for you, too? Having your pet be human?"
It still creeped Chad out.

Chad had been here way too long.
And, besides, before that, one of his best friends had barrettes that turned into fairies, so your girlfriend doing magic didn't seem that off. Especially to someone who got superpowers when he had sex with his boyfriend.
