First Floor Lobby - Wednesday Morning

Chris woke up and realized that he was cold. And it was dark. Very dark.

He sighed, realizing the power was out. He tucked an extra blanket around Summer and left her a note that he'd be in the lobby.

Then he orbed out to the mainland and returned with several big containers of coffee and assorted pastries from an Einstein Brothers.

Anyone wandering past would smell the coffee and notice the faint glow of orbs he had magicked up to light the room.

"I've just got one cat," Chad explained. "Teddy's got a cat. And Dinah's got a cat, too. So they're always hanging out because we're always hanging out."

Pause.

"And-or living together."

There was a pause.

"....Awwwww."

Yeah, that just about summed up Chad's thoughts on cute floppy little bunnies. Summed it up because inside he was just melting at the idea.

As if Chad needed anything more to internally be melting all over the place.

"That's really cute."

"...Probably hard to tell with rabbits," Chad noted. And then his head tilted slightly.

"Was that really weird for you, too? Having your pet be human?"

It still creeped Chad out.

"Why would that be weird?"

Chad had been here way too long.

And, besides, before that, one of his best friends had barrettes that turned into fairies, so your girlfriend doing magic didn't seem that off. Especially to someone who got superpowers when he had sex with his boyfriend.
