third floor common room - wednesday evening - 1/21
Liir was, quite frankly, exhausted.
That said, as the dorms were as powerless as the rest of town, he'd brought the remainder of the food from the Cafe to the common room. As such, there were a few still-steaming tureens on the counter for anyone who might need a quick bite or something warm. He'd also scared up a few different kinds ofmoddable cookies that he'd set out with it. Cold, but tasty.
Not that he cared at this point. Right now, he was having trouble keeping his eyes open and on the page of his book. Makejoy tried her very hardest to keep him awake by being professionally cute at him but even walking over him was having very little effect.
[liir's drowsy and waiting for someone but post is open and soup/hot chocolate is warm and free]

"Dude, why am I not surprised you got food for folks," he told Liir as he came in.

Liir squinted from the couch and looked over at Hurley, somewhat bleary.
The words finally translated.
"Hmmmnmmm."
Which was 'yeah'.

"Tired," he finally got out as Makejoy crossed over to try and lick him in the face from a different angle.

"M'good. Thanks."
Beat.
"Soup?"
And he pointed at the soup.

"You can," he said.
"Soup. Take some soup."
He scrubbed his face.
"Sorry."

"Mmmm," more awake and a little cranky, though that evened out once he started petting the puppy "yes, well... I'm an idiot, but there you go. How was your day?"

"I spent the day walking around town delivering soup," he explained, "as part of... I don't know, marketing. For the Cafe. And I don't like people being cold."

He blinked up at her and gave her a sleepy smile.
Makejoy, on the other hand, ran for her, tail wagging.

Stepping over to the couch, she carefully set Makejoy back down and reached a hand over to mess with Liir's hair. "You look exhausted, hon."
no subject
"Yeah, just a bit" he yawned "tired."

Yes, he had no idea.
"They're very... bright."

Expectantly.
And opening his mouth just a little.
