4th Floor Common Room [Saturday, Late Morning]

Angela was up, once again comparatively early for a weekend. She'd got an good long night of sleep, so it was only after she listened to the radio podcast she realised she'd missed an all out corridor make out session last night. That was just sad.

So sad, that she was microwaving popcorn and half-watching a Gelmoore Gals rerun. Yes, popcorn for breakfast. Sort of. Whatever, it smelt great, and with any luck it would taste that too.

It was a weekend, popcorn brunch was entirely acceptable.

And, yeah okay, she wasn't that sad, really. It was a weekend.

[[Open common room is all open. I don't want to have to do work today.]]

Yay, people were starting to wake up. Which was good. Because he was bored. Not knowing if the window shades were going to be open or something, Emmett came in fully dressed rather than wearing his usual Saturday morning uniform.

Which would be just his boxers, usually.

"Morning!" Emmett said with the cheerfulness of someone who spent all night beating the most recent Call of Duty game.

"I'm totally a morning person," Emmett told her, flopping down into one of the chairs. Which probably wasn't the best idea since it creaked a little under his weight. "Don't like wasting the day with that sleeping crap."

"Oh yeah?" Emmett asked. He was totally enjoying the popcorn smell. He almost wished he could eat it, it smelled so good. "What kind of circumstances does it depend on?"

"Two very good reasons," Emmett said, smiling. "I'm Emmett, by the way."

"Yep," he said with a nod. "I thought you looked familiar. But it's hard to be sure in a movie class since the lights are off most of the time."

That and Emmett tended to think all humans looked alike. Call him racist. Specieist. Whatever, he wasn't as bad as Jasper.

Emmett smirked. "No, not really. But, don't worry, I won't judge you for liking it or anything. It's making the room smell good."

"I'm kind of a health food guy," Emmett admitted. "Don't really touch the sugary stuff."

"Popcorn?" Triela asked as she wandered in. She was wearing her suit and looking way too awake and professional for a Saturday.

Triela paused for a second, as if carefully considering the offer, before nodding abruptly and reaching out to take a small handful of popcorn. "Not really," she answered, her expression clearly wondering why Angela would think so.

Sometimes Triela forgot it was weird to wear suits on lazy days.

"Thank you," Triela smiled. Almost in spite of herself.

It was nice of people to notice.

"You look comfortable, at least?"

"Most people around here tend to spend their weekend mornings asleep," Triela pointed out with a smirk.

A smile hovered around the corner of Triela's mouth. "And vegging out with popcorn and mindless television counts as 'doing something'?"

"True," Triela nodded. "And I suppose there are worse ways to spend your time." She shook her head as a few of them flitted through her mind.
