Dorm hallways, Saturday morning

Brooke was out early today, having worked on party-planning enough to feel good about putting up the posters. Which was what she was doing now, making sure every hallway had at least one, or two, or sixteen of its very own. Had to make sure the word got out, right?

Romeo spotted the poster, spotted Brooke, and sprouted an enormous smile. "I think this will draw a bigger crowd than the game."

Brooke smiled back and noted, "But there'll be a much happier crowd for the second half."

"If people don't get too distracted either kissing or watching kissing to make it back to the game," Romeo observed. "The score will be on the news anyhow."

"Oh, I'll make sure they're back," Brooke assured him. "Because then the good commercials will be back after halftime and that's really all I care about watching." Also guys in tight pants but she figured that went without saying.

Dinah spotted the poster, her eyes going huge. Then spotted the last line about 'the porn guy'. "Omigod!"

"And that 'omigod' means you're really really looking forward to the party, right?" Brooke asked, despite knowing better.

"Um," Dinah said a little desperately. "Um?" She shook herself, then blinked at the other girl. "Do the guys make out too?"

Then she facepalmed, because she had not meant to ask that out loud.

"That'd be a whole other party, and with the football thing the guys would probably really be too coated in testosterone to go for it. Though, here you never know," Brooke admitted. "So this one's all about the girls. You should show." Said just to antagonize the poor girl.

A sound between eek and ulp escaped Dinah, and she stared at Brooke in total embarrassment. "Uhhh..." She turned even more red. Wow. She so didn't know how to respond to that. "Hunh."

"I understand, it's a little scary, but that's what college- I mean, boarding school- is all about," she said soothingly. "If nothing else, it should be swarming with guys or I'm going to have to make them all regret not showing."

"Ummm..." A little less embarrassment, and a little more intrigue there. "Really. Seriously?" She stared at the poster. Well. That sounded... okay, she had no idea. Interesting, yeah. She'd settle for that.

"Porn guy is Merlin," she said absently.

"Oh, is that his name?" she said, looking at the poster. She took out her pen, crossing out "porn guy" on this particular poster and scribbling "Merlin" there instead. There, much better. "He was kind of stuck on stammering out one word sentences and 'how' so I didn't catch his name."

And that would be horrified giggling, as Dinah realized she was going to owe Merlin even more ice cream after this... unless she just didn't tell him. "It was a total accident, he's not a pervert, but, um, yeah. That would be him." She blinked. "Wow, okay, now I have to go just to see his face."

And if she had to kiss someone to do it, she'd, she'd, uhhh, she'd suck it up. Gulp. She could be mature! Yeah!

"See, you have to do it. Might even want to bring a camera," she advised.

Huge eyes again. And whoa, people might take pictures of her, kissing a girl, and.... "Maybe?" she squeaked.

Romeo laughed. "Excellent priorities. Isn't there cheerleading to watch, too?"

He couldn't actually remember.

Just wait till Dinah discovered the security cameras. "That's okay, if you don't remember, I will. I'll pass them along!"

"There is. I actually only ever started watching the Super Bowl to pick up moves," she admitted.

"I need to go to one of your practices again sometime," Romeo said idly. "I went once and Rikku tried to recruit me. When are they, now?"

"Wednesdays. And see, now I know that if I don't see you there, I'm going to have to harass you until you do," she warned.

Dean stopped and read the poster just after Brooke put it up. "I highly approve."

"I figured you would," Brooke grinned, turning so she could lean against the wall. "Which means you're showing, right?"

Dōjima paused to look at one of the posters, a grin lighting up her face. "I think I love your brain," she announced gleefully.

Jess didn't usually pay much attention to the posters people put up, but this one was kind of hard to miss, and the more he read, the more he grinned. "Does everyone have to sit through the first half of the game?" he asked.
