Dorm hallways, Saturday morning

Brooke was out early today, having worked on party-planning enough to feel good about putting up the posters. Which was what she was doing now, making sure every hallway had at least one, or two, or sixteen of its very own. Had to make sure the word got out, right?

Romeo spotted the poster, spotted Brooke, and sprouted an enormous smile. "I think this will draw a bigger crowd than the game."

Brooke smiled back and noted, "But there'll be a much happier crowd for the second half."

"If people don't get too distracted either kissing or watching kissing to make it back to the game," Romeo observed. "The score will be on the news anyhow."

"Oh, I'll make sure they're back," Brooke assured him. "Because then the good commercials will be back after halftime and that's really all I care about watching." Also guys in tight pants but she figured that went without saying.

Dinah spotted the poster, her eyes going huge. Then spotted the last line about 'the porn guy'. "Omigod!"

"And that 'omigod' means you're really really looking forward to the party, right?" Brooke asked, despite knowing better.

"Um," Dinah said a little desperately. "Um?" She shook herself, then blinked at the other girl. "Do the guys make out too?"

Then she facepalmed, because she had not meant to ask that out loud.

"That'd be a whole other party, and with the football thing the guys would probably really be too coated in testosterone to go for it. Though, here you never know," Brooke admitted. "So this one's all about the girls. You should show." Said just to antagonize the poor girl.

Dean stopped and read the poster just after Brooke put it up. "I highly approve."

"I figured you would," Brooke grinned, turning so she could lean against the wall. "Which means you're showing, right?"

"Unless something comes up, yeah, I think I can fit it onto my calendar," he said.

"No, nothing should be coming up," she said. "There's football, and then there's girlkissy, and then there's more football. Nothing should be coming up in that time unless something invades, and if something invades, I'll yell at it till it goes away." And then she'd cry.

Dōjima paused to look at one of the posters, a grin lighting up her face. "I think I love your brain," she announced gleefully.

"Thank you, it loves you, too," Brooke laughed. "That sounds like a party endorsement."

"Endorsement? Tell me what I need to bring, and I'm there," Dōjima affirmed. "Any party that involves kissing pretty people always has my full support."

"We're going the casual route with the whole Bowl thing happening, but the important things- drinks and breath mints- are totally taken care of," Brooke told her. "Just bring yourself, and maybe a few friends."

Jess didn't usually pay much attention to the posters people put up, but this one was kind of hard to miss, and the more he read, the more he grinned. "Does everyone have to sit through the first half of the game?" he asked.

"As long as you show up during the halftime, I don't care what you do during the rest of it," Brooke replied. "Of course I could always wrangle you into helping me set up..."

"So, there's going to be an actual party? And not just girls making out?" Jess asked.

Sokka snatched a poster off the wall and kissed it. "Thank you, Merlin!"

Brooke had to laugh. "I'm sure Porn Guy appreciates your thanks."

Poor Merlin would probably always be known to Brooke as "Porn Guy", the poor thing.

Sokka shook his finger at her admonishingly. "Don't call him that, Not-Jaina. It was totally not his fault."

Leto was on his way out when he noticed the poster, and after reading it he looked a little confused. It seemed like an odd custom, although interesting.

"And the girl who brought you education about cheerleaders in short skirts also brings you girlkissy," Brooke greeted him.

"You seem concerned about the education of your fellow students," he said with a smirk. "I can guess what girlkissy involves, but tell me, what is Super Bowl?"
