The salle, early Tuesday morning

Second day in a row hitting the salle; this time, waiting for Leto, and whatever kind of workout he did.

Dinah did some stretches while she waited, then got out the eskrima and started to give the practice dummy a bad time.

"I'll protect you from Merlin," Dinah said, half-teasing and half-serious. "And I make Arthur cranky when I breathe. Maybe you noticed. Then again, sometimes he arrives pre-moodied for our convenience." She shrugged, and took a hesitant step toward him. "Whenever this wears off I'm going to want to pretend it didn't happen, but. I'm not sorry some of it did? The first part especially." And at least all this honesty was giving her the guts to say something she'd wanted to say. "I do like you, you know."

He smiled and reached out to give her a light hug. "I know. I like you too. And that's a good thing."

"And if we're both here long enough and I get more experience and my first lover doesn't work out and I can get Arthur distracted somewhere, I am so showing up in your bed."

Dinah facepalmed. Then laughed, and hugged him back. "Fair warning."

"I might even persuade him to participate, if you like," Leto said, then threw his head back and laughed. "I should go now."

Dinah nodded hard at that, because wow, did she ever agree.

And that mental image was just beyond verbal response. Completely.
