Cheerleading Practice, Wednesday After Classes

Hannibal no longer felt the need to spew everything single thing that popped into his head and, for that, he counted himself lucky. He thought about what he had said as he went about setting the gym up for cheerleading practice.

It hadn't been too bad, all things considered, but he hated feeling like he didn't have a choice in confessing feelings to someone. Too late for regrets now. At least she hadn't smacked him.

"...d'you really think you're gonna get in a bidding war?" she wondered. "I'm pretty sure I'd be cheap. I ain't a Companion."

"Well, they can't have me," she noted, kissing his cheek.

She tapped her chin, shooting him a flirty little look.
