Cheerleading Practice, Wednesday After Classes

Hannibal no longer felt the need to spew everything single thing that popped into his head and, for that, he counted himself lucky. He thought about what he had said as he went about setting the gym up for cheerleading practice.

It hadn't been too bad, all things considered, but he hated feeling like he didn't have a choice in confessing feelings to someone. Too late for regrets now. At least she hadn't smacked him.

Angela nodded, catching just a little of that hesitancy there. She apparently decided not to press the matter, though.

"Hopefully soon," she added, holding up crossed fingers to that effect.
