The Gym, Wednesday afternoon after classes

Okay, so yesterday's spar hadn't been the best idea ever. Just letting off steam was going to get someone hurt, and apparently Jen needed a sparring partner too, to judge by Radio. So after weight-training and eskrima in the salle in the morning, Dinah left a message for Jen to meet her in the gym after classes.

Still punching that bag. Today, more like it had insulted her acting abilities.

Dinah's foot slid out from under her with that, and she was already falling when Ronan tried to tackle her-- so she grabbed at his forearms, hoping to drag him down with her.

Oh, look at that.

"Oof."

Dinah was on the floor, and there was a Ronan on top of her. "Uh," he said. "Sorry?"

"Uhhh." Dinah gulped for air again, and took a breath. Okay. Way to be embarrassed again. "Not a good plan. Noted." She coughed. "Ronan? End now?"

"... Sounds good to me," he agreed, as he pushed himself off of Dinah.

Dinah was pretty much a blush on top of a bruise at this point. But she couldn't resist adding, "I could've totally had you there. Either kicking you or kissing you."

"You can have me for a kiss whenever you want," Ronan retorted, far from blushing.

"As for kicking me, I'm getting the impression you could manage that whenever you wished, as well."

It always looked so easy when Helena said and did stuff like that. Dinah always forgot there was supposed to be a comeback after the comeback.

"Oh sure," she mumbled. Then rallied a little to say, "I could, but I wouldn't, not in a spar. Seriously!"
