School Grounds - Sunday Afternoon

Girls and their tea parties were stupid. Stupid! In Lois' opinion there was much more fun things to do than drink tea and wear dresses and crap. Like kicking ass and taking names, for example.

Which was just what she was doing.

"Die, commies, die!" Lois shrieked, kicking a tree. "I'm gon' sendya to Guan-guan-tababo Bay!"

Then she purposely fell into a pile of mud for funsies.

Adora was certainly not wearing a dress, but she also wasn't willing to lower herself to flail in the mud.

Even if she was jealous that Lois got to do so.

"What's a commie?" She asked, smushing the toe of her boot into the mud.

Ned stopped on his way back to his room to eye the girl in the mud.

"You're gettin' all dirty," he informed her. In case she didn't know.

"A bad guy!" Lois informed her as she pulled herself up out of the mud. There was a second or two where she had to pull up her shirt and wipe off her mouth. Some mud got in there. "Daddy says they're red!"

General Lane still had some fears of the Cold War starting up again.

"Thank you!" she said. Obviously that was a compliment. She held up a handful of mud. "Want some?"

"Why?" Ned asked, thinking this a logical question. "Mud is gross. And I have clean clothes."

"Ah, and bad guys are part of the evil Rebellion!" Adora reasoned as she watched Lois with some disdain. "I will help you battle them. I'm going to be a Force Captain."

"'Cause it's fun! And squishy!" Lois demonstrated that by squeezing the mud she had in her hand so it squished out between her fingers.

"I'm gonna be a General!" Lois said, looking smug. Everyone knew a General was better than a Captain. "I'm gonna smoke cigars and drink whiskey and tell people I'm gonna shove my foot up their ass."

That's totally what Generals did.

John was still rather muddy from the night before. Mud doesn't come off all that well just with sleep.

"I'M A GONNA GET YOU!" He screeched, careening through the mud at top speed.

In his haste, John didn't hardly notice he'd pushed over the girl with lots of golden hair as he charged past.

"HE PUSHED ME!" Adora shouted, nearly crying at the sight of her muddy pants and boots.

"How will it come off?" Ned wondered, slowly making his way closer. Mud was enough to up his curiosity, go figure.

A General was better than a Captain. Adora decided aligning herself with Lois wouldn't be so bad... "You're going to be very busy. Won't your foot get tired from so much shoving? You'll need help."

"NO YOU'S NOT!" Lois screamed. She tried to run, she really did, but mud was slippery and she just ended up falling on her face again.

A total tragedy. Really. Ignore the laughter.

"NO I DIN!" John shrieked, slipping and sliding as he looked back to see the bratty girl complaining.

"Um...like this!" Lois said, wiping her hand on her pants. She held up her totally not clean hand for Ned to see. "Ta-daaaaaaa!"

"YOU DID SO! I'M GOING TO TELL ON YOU....WHAT'S YOUR NAME?" Adora would make a list of evil rebels. She could write, unlike whoever this ugly little boy was. Probably.

John tossed himself on the ground, flailing in mud. "I GOTS YOU!"

Lois looked down at Adora's shoes. "Those do look like good shoving boots."

"Does it hurt?" Ned wondered, stomping experimentally in the mud to test out that theory.

"GAVIN DARKLINER!" John told her with a smirk and then he stuck out his tongue as he ran off to play.

"NOT FAIR! I FELL!" Lois said, trying to sit herself up. "YOU'RE CHEATING!"

Lois picked up a handful of mud and threw it in Ned's direction.

Call it a practical demonstration.

Jaina was not stalking John, seriously.

When Jaina came outside to see what there was to do, she saw Lois and folded her arms. "Princesses kick butt, you know." John had told, yes.

"They're for horses," Adora told her. "I bet they'd work good on people, too." Nice way to make it sound like you kick horses, Adora. Nice.
