Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Evening [SLEEPOVER!]

Last night, Joan had the scary dream about koala bears in hats. She decided that tonight, she was gonna stay up ALL night and watch TV in the big room with the big fridge that had lots of ice cream.

She dragged her blanket, pillow and stuffed kitten to the common room and turned on the TV. She would love to have some company.



[Open! I thought a weetiny sleepover leading to big people waking up could be fun. Plus I haven't gotten to play much :D]

Peter peered into the room. "Hi!"

"Hi!" Joan waved. "I'm gonna stay up all night!"

Summer wandered into the common room, holding onto a teddybear. "Hi!"

Johnny thought he was on the second floor and came running in fast.

"WIFE! I losted you!"

He then saw the girl. "Hey, you seen S'vannah?"

Joan nodded. "Sure! There's no mommies and daddies to make us go to bed."

"There's Nathans," Peter pointed out.

"Hi!"

Joan held up her stuffed kitty. "We're gonna stay up all night!"

Joan shook her head. "No, sorry. Is she losted?"

Joan stood up and looked around. "I don't see any Nathans here."

She paused. "What's a Nathan?"

Peter's face lit up. "He's my big brother! He can do anything!"

"Uh-huh," he nodded big. "I'suppose to keep my eye on her. Whatcha doin' in here, whatcha TV uh?" He rambled as he climbed up in a chair.

"Yay!" Summer said gleefully. "Are we gonna watch movies?"

"Oh! My big brother is Kevin and he's dumb."

Not really. Joan liked him better than Luke.

"But he's not here so he can't make us go to sleep!"

"SURE!"

Joan had found some animated film on the TV. "You like this one?"

"I'm gonna stay awake all night," Joan informed him. "So's if I see S'vannah, I can tell her you are lookin' for her!"

"Could it be a sleepover?" Peter asked. "I had a sleepover with Sam! Then we woke up and colored!"

"Yay! I'm staying up all night too and not sleeping 'cause it's boring. I got gummi worms want some?"

Johnny tried to sneak up on Summer, and yelled, "BOO!"

"SURE! I like gummi worms!"

Cause she needed more sugar, really.

Hopping off the chair, he dug into his pocket and pulled out warm, smushy, gummi worms. They had only a little bit of dirt on them.

"Hold out your hand!"

Summer had no idea what it was, but it was animated, so it was good enough for her. "YES! And we should have ice cream!"

"Okay, sure!" Joan agreed. Not that she planned to sleep. Stupid koalas.

"Go get your blanket and pillow!"

What five year old didn't, really? "I can reach the freezer if I stand on a chair."
