The Roof [Wednesday afternoon]

Triela had done an inventory the night before so today it had been a simple matter to grab her gear and head up to the roof.

She spread her gear out and looked over it again. Rappelling harnesses, carabiners, a few hundred-foot lengths of rope... She had everything she needed. She began looking around the roof looking for decent places to secure the ropes while she waited for her partner in crime to show up.

[It's an open, if non-emo-y roof, so anyone's welcome to drop by. Or see dangling people (so not dirty!). OCD on the way now complete.]

Dinah pounded up the stairs after lunch, then grinned when she saw Triela. "Is it all set up?"

First one hand, then a second, then a body. Jack Burton had climbed up the rope to the roof of the school, and boy were his arms tired.

He was sure he'd beaten Triela to the top.

For absolutely no reason whatsoever, Sokka opened his window and stuck his head out. Ahhh, it was a nice day!

Flail! And twirl! And thud.

"Whoa!"

Down on the fourth floor, Angela was about ready to head out for cheerleading. Maybe with time to fit in coffee and a snack in one of the common rooms first.

She did pause in the middle of dragging her hair up into a ponytail when she heard noises outside her window, though.

Thud.

Dinah's aim for not-the-window was getting better. Really! See, no footprints!

"Hi, Angela!"

Jack was thinking it was laundry day; down to just a few shirts would be a good indication, especially when he didn't own many shirts to begin with. "Man. I hate laundry day." He sighed, his hands on his hips, staring at the (small) pile of clothes.

THUD.

"WOOO!" Really, doing a happy dance in a harness is just silly.
