The Salle, Thursday noonish
After considering what she and Tahiri were going to do, Dinah decided that the salle was a better place for the exercise than the gym would be. No reason for innocent bystanders to get hit by flying Jedi or aspiring crimefighters.
Assuming Dinah could keep a straight face when her sparring partner showed up. For now, she was strapping on shin guards, elbow and knee pads, and protective gloves. If you're going to get tossed into a wall, better to be prepared.
[ooc: for the former Funshine!]

"Not one word," she began to say, and coughed. Stupid, stupid high-pitched giggling. Ow.

"Foot's fine. If I hadn't promised we'd do this days ago I'd still be in my room, you know."

Oh, you have no idea how much of a bad sign me wearing shoes is. Let's all be glad I wasn't."She's been bitten before," Tahiri said, and reflected that it was kind of sad, apparently; enhanced reflexes, danger sense and all that, and despite all that Jedi made fantastic gremlin bait. Well, that was one way to bring balance to the Force. "And I am not adorable, and what's with the padding?"

She trailed off. "Anyway."

. . . no, in all honesty, Tahiri wasn't thinking retributively. "On five, then," she said, falling into a guard stance. "One, two, three, four, five . . ."
Her eyes were wide and alert, her expression intent, and her Force-senses extending outward to get a read on what Dinah might do.

To counter, she brought up her own hand and gestured, shoving hard against the backs of Dinah's knees with the Force.

Also, she was going to have to try that hook-around-the-knees movement herself pretty soon. Ow!

Airborne, if only briefly, she used the Force to take control of her trajectory and land on her feet -- then push up, off the floor again, into a high arcing somersault towards Dinah.

Dinah rolled out of the way, and kept rolling until she could get to her feet, and controlled the impulse to just blast out randomly. Getting exhausted for no reason wouldn't help much, would it?
Instinctively, she fell into a fight-ready stance, turning to face Tahiri.

Take that, Funshine Bear.

And duh, let's see if that goes harder with some TK, she thought at the last second, angling a blast along the path of the punch. She'd never tried that before, so her aim was a little shaky, but it was even harder than her first punch had been, since they were close enough to be throwing punches.

She brought one hand up as if to block, but didn't, instead Force-tapping at Dinah's wrist to nudge it sideways as she tried to slip her other elbow inside Dinah's guard.
