Fifth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

Okay, so there had been zombies Monday night. That had kind of sucked. But they all got away okay, and now Sokka had zombies on the brain. Which is why he and Momo Jr. and a thick snuggly blanket and a bucket of popcorn and a bottle of Mountain Dew all sat down together for a zombie movie marathon. Really, what else could you do?

Turtle had been outside, you see. So when Turtle came inside but didn't feel like hanging around the room with Jeff's babbling more and came down to the common room, she just stopped a moment a few steps in, blinked at the TV screen, and then arched an eyebrow at Sokka.

"Zombie movies, Sokka?" she asked. "Really?"

"You haven't been outside much today," Turtle commented, moving into the room and plopping down on the couch, "have you?"

She waved a hand, as well, letting Sokka know that she'd pass on the chinchilla popcorn, thanks.

Turtle shook her head. "Nothing falling from the sky," she said, truthfully, wondering if she should say anything more. She was almost tempted to take that popcorn after all, just to stuff her face to keep from talking. Her eyes were trained on the screen. She was hoping to get some good ideas for the next few days.

Turtle realized that this was a great moment to say something fairly clever.

She took a moment to make sure she didn't let it go to waste before shrugging back. "Well, I'd much rather enjoy these ones than the ones outside," she supplied.

Turtle shook her head. "Nope. Guess again. They might have gone crying for mommy, but only just so mommy...and daddy...and second cousins...and great-great-uncle thrice removed....could come and join them."

Marco was bored and wondering around the building. "Hey!"

[identity profile] morpherboy.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
"All we want to do is eat your brains." Marco sang - badly - back at him.

[identity profile] morpherboy.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Marco considered this question carefully. "Only if a TV is involved."

"There's a rat in the bowl." Marco pointed out.

"Marrrrcooooooooo," said Turtle, waving from the couch.

[identity profile] morpherboy.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
"Tuuuuuuuuuuurtle." Marco responded from his couch.

[identity profile] morpherboy.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
"Boooooored." Marco responded. "You?"

[identity profile] stocksgrrl.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
"I take it you haven't been outside," Turtle noted.

[identity profile] morpherboy.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
Marco frowned. "Is it snowing?"

[identity profile] stocksgrrl.livejournal.com 2009-04-02 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
Turtle shook her head, a little fascinated by Marco being...well, Marco, really. "Nope," she said. "Not snowing. Guess again."

Adam had been outside, yes, but had somehow avoided the zombies. He wandered into the common room, looking for something to do. He was bored, okay?

Eying the television, Adam approved. "Zombies, huh?" The kid still had no idea what was going on outside.
